The Electronics Assembler assembles and/or modifies electronic components to precise specifications. 1st Shift Hours:Monday -Thursdayfrom 6:30am –3:30pm and every other Friday from6:30am – 2:30pm plus overtime when necessary.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assembles electronic circuit boards by installing components using soldering equipment and other small tools. Assembles electronic units, sub-assemblies, wiring harnesses and mechanical assemblies using various small tools. Adjusts, repairs or replaces electronic components or assemblies to correct defects. Performs other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.Job Requirements High School Diploma/GED, preferred Assembly experience, preferred Acute dexterity of fingers and hands Ability to use small tools Keen attention to detail and quality Excellent vision. The Global Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager promotes a safe and healthy working environment for Amphenol Borisch Technologies team members. This individual will create and execute ABT’s EHS vision and strategies primarily in Grand Rapids, MI, Mesa, AZ, and London, ON while coordinating actions in Nogales, MX.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Upholds and improves safety policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements and ensure a safe work environment for all team members. Maintains expertise regarding interpretation of federal, state, and local EHS regulations at each facility. Ensure all needed EHS regulatory permits are in place. Ensure all required EHS regulatory documents are submitted in required time frame. Leads EHS audits and inspections at each facility to detect existing or potential safety hazards. Makes recommendations for corrective or preventive measures to management. Manages the EHS internal audit program, including scheduling, facilitating, and reporting audit results. Investigates work-related injuries/illnesses, on-the-job accidents and/or near misses. Identifies ways to prevent reoccurrence by reengineering, changing the process or requiring personal protective equipment. Ensures compliance with all applicable OSHA standards and regulations such as Hazard Communication, Lockout/Tag out, Blood borne Pathogens, Hearing Conservation, Emergency Evacuation Plans, etc. Maintains, improves and facilitates the training of Safety Orientation, Hazard Communication, Lock Out/Tag Out, Internal Auditing, etc. Leads the EHS Councils at each site which tracks and implements improvement actions and opportunities. Oversees the Emergency Response Teams and ensures they are trained in First Aid, CPR and AED. Maintains all recordkeeping and conducts activities necessary for environmental compliance (monthly material usage recordkeeping, storm water, air permitting, etc).
